Code Blue
Like
any other day, you sit down at your computer and hit the
power button. As your computer starts to boot up, you
hear a funny sound coming from your PC. After an
unusually long start up, the clicking noise doesn’t
stop. What do you do?
Digicom’s Answer: Immediately shut it off and call
43-PC911
That clicking noise is an indicator that your hard drive
is circling the drain and every second could mean the
possibility of you still having all of your documents
and pictures in tact or walking away empty handed. With
each attempt to revive your PC, you are considerably
cutting the odds of a successful data recovery in half.
When a hard drive crashes, there’s a great potential for
valuable data being stored on the internal disc to be
damaged.
PC
Paramedics can help. Our technicians will come to your
home or office and remove your hard drive from the PC.
Our technicians will then take it back to our lab where
it will be hooked up to a data recovery machine and the
extraction process begins. We will work diligently to
retrieve your hard work and years of memories currently
stored on your hard drive. All data retrieved will then
be placed on CD’s so that it can safely be loaded onto
your new drive.
Unfortunately, not all hard drives are recoverable. Due
to their sensitive nature, even the slightest damage
caused by power surges, direct lightening strikes, fire
damage, heat damage, or accidental dropage can cause
your hard drive to be inoperable. In these worst case
scenarios, Digicom technicians will do their best to get
you the best price on a replacement hard drive and aid
you in restoring your operating system so that you are
fully functional again in no time. The best possible
solution to prevent total data loss is to back up your
hard drive a regular basis and keep a copy in a safe
place that is heat and fire resistant or is off
premises.
Digicom understands how frustrating it is to have a
failing hard drive and will do what is necessary to aid
you in your time of need.
